Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pastry Chef role based in Chandigarh. The Pastry Chef will plan, prepare, and produce a variety of baked goods, pastries, desserts, and bakery items in accordance with Fasbrouz standards. Typical responsibilities include mixing and baking doughs, creating and decorating pastries, managing daily production schedules, and ensuring quality, taste, and presentation. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, monitoring inventory of ingredients, and working closely with the culinary team to develop current menu items.



The Pastry Chef will also support efficient service during peak hours and may assist with training junior kitchen staff.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Bakery and Baking skills, including working with doughs, batters, and pastry techniques.
• Candidates should possess solid Food Preparation and Cooking skills for handling ingredients, portions, and kitchen workflows.
• Candidates should possess well-developed Culinary Skills, including flavor pairing, plating, and consistency in recipe execution.
• Relevant professional experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery environment is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment operation is required.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are important.
• Formal training or certification in culinary arts, baking, or pastry is an advantage.
