Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expectation of joining within 7 days. The role includes handling day-to-day accounting entries, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. Responsibilities also involve petty cash management, supporting credit control activities, reconciling ledgers and bank statements, and preparing basic financial reports for review by senior finance staff.



The Accounts Assistant will coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment queries, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support month-end closing activities.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger management, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Candidates should possess experience in Credit Control, including monitoring outstanding payments and coordinating with clients or internal teams for timely collections.
• Candidates should possess practical Petty Cash management skills, including tracking cash expenses and maintaining accurate cash records.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and clients, and to clearly report financial information.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
