Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web automation test suites using Cypress and Playwright.
• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks, components, utilities, and test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Automate end-to-end web application workflows, user journeys, UI interactions, and browser-based scenarios.




• Create and maintain reliable test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
• Validate UI elements, page behaviour, navigation, forms, dynamic content, and application workflows.
• Perform API testing and validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and business rules.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Analyse test requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify automation opportunities and scenarios.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams during sprint planning, test design, and execution.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure automation coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Debug test failures, identify root causes, and distinguish application defects from automation or environment issues.
