Must-have experience

• Proven experience creating MSI packages and EXE bootstrapper bundles from application and component requirements.
• Good understanding of Windows installation behaviour, including services, registry, file and folder permissions, environment variables, prerequisites,

32-bit and 64-bit considerations, and install contexts.
• Hands-on scripting ability with PowerShell, batch files, and InstallShield scripting/custom actions.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting install, uninstall, upgrade, repair, rollback, silent-install, and logging behaviour.
• Working knowledge of Git for version-controlling InstallShield projects and supporting scripts, reviewing changes, and managing branches and merges.
• Robust troubleshooting skills: can investigate installer logs and Windows behaviour, identify root causes, and implement and validate fixes.

Relevant to our project work
