The impact you’ll make

We are seeking a Sustainability Engineer to support the development and execution of our Asia-Pacific (APAC) renewable energy and sustainable facilities strategy. This role will focus on advancing long-term renewable electricity goals, supporting onsite solar deployment, aligning current construction projects with our sustainability and net zero goals, and driving sustainability integration across facilities operations.

The ideal candidate combines technical facilities engineering expertise, project execution capability, and sustainability acumen, with experience working across diverse regulatory and infrastructure environments in Asia.

This role will partner closely with ESG, Global Workplace Services (GWS), EHS, and regional site teams to translate corporate climate goals into practical, site-level implementation.

What You’ll Do

APAC Renewable Energy Strategy Execution

• Support development and implementation of a regional renewable energy strategy, including onsite solar,



power purchase agreements, and other procurement mechanisms, tailored to local market conditions.
• Conduct site-level feasibility assessments for renewable energy projects (e.g., rooftop solar, ground-mounted PV, storage integration).
• Analyze energy demand, load profiles, and regulatory constraints to identify optimal deployment pathways.
• Review technical specifications, system design (e.g., PV sizing, interconnection), and performance expectations.
• Monitor operational performance and identify optimization opportunities post-installation.
• Track progress toward renewable electricity and Scope 2 goals across APAC sites.

Sustainable Construction & New Build Integration

• Partner with design, construction, and facilities teams to embed sustainability requirements into new buildings and major retrofits across our APAC sites.
