JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team at S&O; Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis, detailing, and technical documentation of marine and offshore structural systems.
The role involves working closely with senior structural engineers, naval architects, project engineers, fabrication teams, and other technical departments to develop safe, practical, and cost-effective structural solutions. The selected candidate will assist in preparing engineering drawings, performing structural calculations, reviewing technical documents, and supporting ongoing marine projects.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, positive knowledge of engineering drawings, and an interest in developing a career in the marine, shipbuilding, offshore, and structural engineering industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the design, analysis, and detailing of marine and offshore structural components.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform structural calculations and basic engineering analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the design and modification of ship structures, offshore structures, platforms, and marine components.
• Coordinate with the design, fabrication, production, and project teams to ensure engineering requirements are met.
• Review drawings and technical documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Support preparation of material take-offs, bills of materials (BOM), and technical reports.
• Assist with site/fabrication inspections and resolve technical issues when required.
