Summary:

The Senior Application Engineer - Connected Gateway Systems leads the technical integration, validation, deployment, and lifecycle support of connected IoT gateway solutions within Global Tire Intelligence Solutions (GTIS). The role serves as the engineering interface among gateway hardware and firmware teams, sensor teams, cloud services, suppliers, fleet business units, and technical operations to support reliable integration with vehicle systems and sensors across last-mile delivery vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Roles & Responsibilities:





Lead the technical integration and deployment of connected gateway solutions across commercial and fleet vehicle platforms.
Translate fleet and customer needs into user stories, system requirements, technical proposals, and implementation reviews across GTIS engineering teams.
Coordinate gateway integration with vehicle networks, TPMS and other sensors, firmware, cloud services, and fleet applications.
Plan and support fleet and vehicle testing monitor gateway and hardware KPIs, process cloud data, and develop dashboards for engineering monitoring and decision support.
Perform debugging, diagnostic testing, and root-cause analysis for hardware, firmware, CAN communication, wireless connectivity, and field-deployment issues.
Develop and execute validation plans, test procedures, and performance verification activities for gateway products and software releases.
