Production Planning & Execution
Execute daily and monthly production plans as per targets.
Ensure timely completion of production schedules.
Monitor production output and machine utilization.
Coordinate with the planning department to meet delivery commitments.
Manpower Management
Allocate work to operators and workers according to production requirements.
Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and discipline.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.
Quality Control
Ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to resolve quality issues.
Minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
Machine & Material Management
Ensure machines and equipment are operating efficiently.
Coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize machine downtime.
Monitor raw material consumption and reduce wastage.
Ensure availability of materials required for production.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily production reports and shift records.
Track production targets versus actual output.
Maintain records of rejection, downtime, and material consumption.
Prepare reports for the Production Manager.
Safety & 5S
Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and workplace organization through 5S practices.
Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Continuous Improvement
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Support productivity improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.
Experience in a manufacturing or production workplace is preferred.
Knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and production reporting.
