JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for managing and optimizing assembly line operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The role requires hands-on involvement in lean manufacturing, process improvement, troubleshooting, line balancing, quality assurance, operator multiskilling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets. Key responsibilities include driving process improvements and sustaining existing processes, delivering DL training, and enhancing workforce skills on both new and existing operations. The position also supports Manufacturing and Quality Engineering in implementing current equipment and process changes through the ECN system. Additional responsibilities include executing equipment and process qualifications, SPC, Poka-Yoke, preparation and approval of SOPs, Work Instructions, Job Cards, and setup validations. The role further involves implementing quality systems on assembly cells, driving small automation initiatives, and achieving cycle time improvements.





This position is responsible for managing production activities on assembly line(s) by implementing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste and defects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily production responsibilities for assigned assembly line(s) and shifts.

• Ensure adherence to quality system procedures, delivery commitments, and production targets.

• Analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

• Apply lean manufacturing tools and concepts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

• Optimize assembly line setups to maximize throughput and maintain consistent product quality.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing/Quality Engineering to support product development and process changes.
