Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media & PR Manager to build the company's public presence and founder brand within the defence-technology and national security ecosystem. You will own social media channels, media relations and the content calendar end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly content calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter) and YouTube.

• Cover company events, product launches, defence expos and field trials for real-time content.

Founder Branding

• Manage and grow founder personal profiles and thought-leadership content.

• Plan and coordinate founder podcast appearances and speaking opportunities.

Content Coordination

• Coordinate with video editors, designers and external agencies for content production.





• Brief and review creative assets to maintain brand consistency across channels.

Media Relations & PR

• Build and manage relationships with defence, technology and business journalists.

• Draft press releases and media notes, and coordinate press coverage for key company milestones.

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing social media/PR, preferably for a startup, technology or defence brand.

• Robust writing skills for LinkedIn/PR content; understanding of platform-specific content strategy.

• Experience coordinating with designers, video editors and external vendors.

• Basic understanding of media relations and press release drafting.

• Interest in defence, technology and the startup ecosystem is a plus.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
