About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Workday Integration Consultant who can independently design, develop, test, deploy, and support end-to-end Workday integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Workday Studio development, Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, XSLT, and Workday Web Services, along with the ability to work directly with client stakeholders and manage integration deliverables independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations end to end.
- Build integrations from scratch using Workday Studio, including error handling, logging, debugging, and deployment.
- Develop and configure Core Connectors, EIBs, and payroll/vendor outbound integrations.
- Develop custom XSLT transformations for Workday XML.
- Work with Workday SOAP/REST Web Services and related operations.
- Gather client requirements, prepare integration design documents, and support UAT and post-go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve production issues independently.
- Configure and work with SFTP/PGP, OAuth, Integration System Users (ISUs), and security-related requirements.
- Integrate Workday with third-party systems, including payroll vendors, benefits carriers, and other enterprise applications.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on Workday Integration experience.
- Active Workday Integrations Certification is mandatory.
- At least one full-cycle Workday implementation.




- Independently developed at least 3–4 integrations from scratch using Workday Studio.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday Studio: Development, error handling, logging, debugging, and deployment.
- Core Connectors: Worker and/or Benefits, including custom transformations and filters.
- EIB: Inbound and outbound integrations, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- PECI: Payroll Effective Change Interface or equivalent payroll/vendor outbound feeds.
- XSLT: Writing custom transformations, with XSLT 3.0 exposure or familiarity.
- Workday Web Services: SOAP/REST and Get, Put, and Import operations.
- Ability to independently manage requirements gathering, integration design, development, UAT, and post-go-live support.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Workday Orchestrations / orchestration capabilities for integrations.
- Workday reporting and calculated fields relevant to integration development.
- Experience with third-party payroll, benefits, and enterprise system integrations.

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on Workday Studio development experience.

Profiles involving only EIBs, Core Connectors, reporting, maintenance, or supporting other developers without independently building Studio integrations will not be a match for this role.
