Role Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 1–2 years of experience in editing engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, visual storytelling, and platform-specific content styles.

The role involves editing raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, brand campaigns, promotional content, and other digital marketing requirements. The candidate will work closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to understand creative briefs, maintain brand consistency, and deliver content within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
- Create trend-driven content, promotional videos, brand storytelling videos, and talking-head Reels.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance video engagement.
- Perform basic colour correction and grading to maintain visual consistency and quality.
- Integrate motion graphics, animated titles, and other visual elements where required.
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, viral formats, trending audio, and emerging video editing styles.
- Optimise videos for social media platforms,



including appropriate aspect ratios, resolutions, and export settings.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content teams to execute creative briefs and brand requirements.
- Organise and manage raw footage, project files, and final exports efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and ensure timely delivery of content.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing, preferably for digital marketing agencies, brands, or social media accounts.
- Strong proficiency in editing Instagram Reels and short-form vertical videos.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of transitions, pacing, sound design, subtitles, colour correction, and basic colour grading.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an added advantage.
- Robust understanding of Instagram content formats, trends, audience engagement, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to understand creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and implement feedback.
- Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is mandatory.
- Salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month
