Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area for Steel Checkers, Tekla Modelers, and Steel Detailers. The role involves interpreting structural and fabrication drawings, creating and updating detailed steel models in Tekla, and preparing accurate shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists. Team members will review and check steel detailing work for completeness, constructability, and compliance with project standards, codes, and client specifications.

Daily tasks include coordinating with engineers and project managers, resolving detailing and modeling issues,



and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs. The role also requires maintaining project documentation, following established workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement of detailing and modeling practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in structural steel detailing and checking, including interpretation of engineering drawings and steel fabrication standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Tekla Structures or similar 3D modeling tools for steel structures, including model creation, revision management, and drawing extraction.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant codes and standards for structural steel (e.g., AISC, BS/EN, IS), and understanding of connections, joints, and erection methodologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in drawing review, quality control, and error detection, with attention to dimensions, fit-up, and material specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design conflicts, RFIs, and constructability issues.
- Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Experience in detailing marine, offshore, industrial, power, or bulk material handling structures will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving client requirements is beneficial.
