Zycus is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Intern to join our engineering team at Zycus. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, system reliability, and DevOps practices.

The selected candidate will work alongside experienced engineers to help maintain highly available, scalable, secure, and reliable systems while learning industry-standard tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring the availability, performance, and reliability of applications and infrastructure.
- Support the automation of operational tasks using scripting and programming.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment automation.
- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure, application, and production issues.
- Learn and work with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
- Help implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management practices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and documentation.
- Follow best practices for system security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

- Education: BE/B.E. in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in operating systems, computer networks, and Linux.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, DevOps,



CI/CD, or infrastructure concepts is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and work in a energetic engineering environment.

Internship Details

- Duration: 6 months
- Monthly Stipend: ₹40,000
- Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
- Full-Time Opportunity: Candidates may be considered for a full-time position at the end of the internship, based on their performance during the internship and the organization's requirements.
