Job Purpose/ Summary

Allocation of manpower as per shift schedule at the assigned looms also identify and attend major breaks (warp and weft . producing looms.

The Manager of Non Cotton Procurement is responsible for overseeing the procurement operations within the WIL-PLANT, focusing on non-cotton materials. This role requires a strategic approach to managing procurement processes, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and manpower according to shift schedules. The manager will identify and address significant operational disruptions, such as warp and weft breaks, to maintain optimal production levels.

A deep understanding of product knowledge, systems, and documentation is essential, alongside expertise in domestic trade. The role demands strong analytical skills to evaluate procurement strategies and make data-driven decisions. The manager will also foster business and commercial acumen, demonstrating excellence in people management and entrepreneurship.

A global mindset is crucial to navigate the complexities of international procurement landscapes. The role involves close collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless operations and supplier relationship management.

Allocate manpower effectively according to shift schedules at the assigned looms ensuring optimal productivitybr Identify and address major operational disruptions such as warp and weft breaks to maintain continuous productionbr Plan and coordinate procurement activities with other departments to align with overall business objectivesbr Conduct regular reviews and followups to ensure compliance with procurement policies and proceduresbr Collaborate with the supplier ARC inventory control department to manage inventory levels efficientlybr Utilize strong analytical skills to assess procurement strategies and implement improvementsbr Foster a culture of business and commercial acumen within the team promoting excellence in people managementbr Develop and maintain a global mindset to effectively manage international procurement challenges
