How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sourcing, supplier development and cost optimization activities for the Sheet Metal Stamping, Fabrication and Mount Bracket category. You will lead supplier identification, RFQ management, commercial negotiations, supplier qualification, localization and ongoing supplier performance management for sheet metal components and assemblies.

You Will Make an Impact By:

- Leading strategic sourcing activities for sheet metal stamping, fabrication and mount bracket components.
- Identifying, evaluating, onboarding and developing suppliers based on technical capability, capacity, quality, cost and delivery performance.
- Managing RFQs, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations and sourcing recommendations.
- Performing cost breakdown and should-cost analysis covering raw material, tooling, conversion, finishing and other manufacturing costs.
- Coordinating tooling development, FAI, PPAP and supplier qualification with engineering, quality and operations teams.
- Driving localization, alternate-source development, VAVE and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Working with suppliers on manufacturing processes including stamping, punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, fabrication and surface finishing.
- Monitoring supplier capacity, delivery performance and supply risks to ensure continuity of supply.
- Supporting new products and engineering-change requirements related to assigned commodities.
- Maintaining sourcing data, supplier records, pricing and procurement information in SAP.
- Developing and tracking sourcing KPIs, cost-saving projects and supplier development plans.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial,



or related Engineering discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Commodity Management or Procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in manufacturing environments and SAP ERP (MM Module) is mandatory.
- Hands-on sourcing experience in sheet metal stamping and fabrication.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal stamping, fabrication, welding, bending and forming processes.
- Knowledge of press tools, dies, fixtures and sheet metal tooling development.
- Understanding of raw materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, GD&T; and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of PPAP, FAI, supplier qualification and supplier development processes.
- Strong commercial negotiation, cost analysis and should-costing capability.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
