Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role (Paid) at Transpure is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that support cross-border payment functionalities. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, debugging and resolving technical issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with senior engineers on new features and improvements.

The intern will also help document technical specifications, test software components, and contribute to enhancing system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and databases.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g.,



Java, Angular, JavaScript or similar).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, server-side frameworks, and integration with databases.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in real-world projects.
- Proven experience leveraging LLMs, prompt engineering, and autonomous AI agents to automate complex workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow guidance from mentors.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices is beneficial.
- Interest in fintech and payment systems, with a willingness to learn about cross-border transaction workflows.
