Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer – ASP.NET & Web Application Support for a prospective government-sector IT project.

The selected candidate will work at a government client location in Jamnagar, Gujarat, managing and maintaining existing web applications, supporting server infrastructure, implementing new features, and ensuring application performance, availability, and security.

This position involves hands-on application maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support, and enhancement of existing web-based systems.

Key Responsibilities1. Website Maintenance & Application Support

- Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing web applications.
- Identify and resolve application bugs, technical errors, and performance issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Develop, modify, and integrate new website features and modules as required.
- Ensure compatibility across supported browsers and operating systems.

2. Software Development & Database Management

- Support applications developed using ASP.NET, C#, PHP, Laravel, and Node.js.
- Work with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Maintain and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases.
- Troubleshoot backend application issues and database connectivity problems.
- Support application updates, integration,



and deployment activities.

3. Server & Infrastructure Management

- Work with Windows Server and Linux/UNIX environments.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IIS and Apache web servers.
- Support applications hosted on government/NIC infrastructure.
- Coordinate with server administrators and relevant technical stakeholders.
- Perform system monitoring, configuration management, and routine maintenance.

4. Website Security & Performance

- Implement application and server security updates.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and related security configurations.
- Identify and remediate application vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Optimize website performance and support high-availability requirements.
- Maintain technical records, issue logs, and maintenance reports.

5. Technical Coordination & Support

- Provide on-site technical assistance to the client.
- Coordinate with internal development teams and client IT personnel.
- Troubleshoot incidents and implement appropriate solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and periodic status reports.
- Support software upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.

- Experience handling production application issues and performing maintenance activities.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and deployment processes.
- Previous experience supporting government, enterprise, or large-scale web applications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to independently manage technical issues.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable coordinating with client representatives and technical teams.
- Willing to work full-time on-site at the client location in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
