We're looking for a highly creative, camera-confident, and social media-savvy Content Creator who can help establish Purple Business's online presence, create engaging content, and build a growing community of business owners, entrepreneurs, and marketing enthusiasts.

This is an opportunity to work directly with the founder, experiment with creative ideas, and help build the social media identity of an AI startup from its earliest stages.

Key Responsibilities1. On-Camera Content Creation &

- Reels

- Be comfortable appearing on camera and representing Purple Business in educational, promotional, and entertaining video content.
- Conceptualize, script, record, edit, and publish high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form videos.
- Create engaging content on topics including small business growth, marketing strategies, branding, advertising, customer acquisition, entrepreneurship, AI tools, and business success stories.
- Explain business concepts in simple, interesting, relatable, and engaging ways.
- Experiment with storytelling techniques, hooks, trends, humor, and creative formats to maximize viewer engagement.
- Create multiple high-quality reels consistently while maintaining strong standards for video production, storytelling, and presentation.
- Independently brainstorm and execute original content ideas rather than relying entirely on assigned scripts.

• Audience Growth
- Take ownership of Purple Business's social media presence, with Instagram as the primary focus.
- Manage and grow the brand's presence across LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X (Twitter), where relevant.
- Develop and execute content calendars, posting schedules, and platform-specific growth strategies.
- Create engaging captions, headlines, hooks, descriptions, and calls to action.
- Stay updated on social media trends, viral content formats, algorithm changes, and emerging content opportunities.
- Experiment with different content types to improve reach, engagement, follower growth, and brand awareness.
- Monitor performance metrics such as views, watch time, retention, engagement rate, profile visits, follower growth, and inbound inquiries.

Community

Engagement &

• Brand Building
- Actively engage with relevant content posted by entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, small businesses, creators, and marketing communities.
- Respond thoughtfully to comments, messages, mentions, and audience questions across Purple Business's social media accounts.
- Participate in relevant online discussions to increase brand visibility and establish meaningful connections.
- Build relationships with business owners, founders, content creators, and potential customers.




- Help create an engaged community around business growth, entrepreneurship, marketing, and AI.
- Identify opportunities to turn social media engagement into meaningful conversations and potential business leads.

4. Collaborations & • Partnerships
- Identify and reach out to small businesses, restaurants, cafes, entrepreneurs, influencers, and content creators for potential collaborations.
- Develop creative collaboration concepts such as joint reels, business interviews, success stories, educational videos, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate collaborative content initiatives with business owners and other creators.
- Explore cross-promotion opportunities, co-created content, and community partnerships to increase organic reach.
- Build relationships with relevant micro-influencers and niche creators in the entrepreneurship, marketing, and small business ecosystem.

Creative

Design &

• Content Production
- Collaborate closely with Purple Business's visual designers and motion designers to produce high-quality social media creatives.
- Contribute ideas for Instagram carousels, graphics, thumbnails, video covers, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Maintain a consistent and recognizable visual identity across the brand's social media channels.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other AI-powered content creation tools for brainstorming, scripting, visual ideation, and content production.
- Independently handle basic video editing, captions, transitions, audio, and other creative elements.

Bonus: Candidates with strong visual design skills, Figma proficiency, graphic design expertise, or motion design capabilities will be highly preferred.

- Founder Collaboration & Content Strategy
- Work directly with the founder of Purple Business to brainstorm content ideas, develop creative strategies, and establish the brand's social media direction.
- Translate the founder's ideas, product vision, and business insights into compelling and accessible social media content.
- Participate in content brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and growth strategy discussions.
- Research successful content formats, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop innovative ideas to position Purple Business as a valuable resource for small business owners.
- Experiment with different messaging, content styles, and audience segments to discover what resonates.
- Take ownership of creative initiatives and contribute to the company's long-term brand-building strategy.

Requirements
- Excellent on-camera confidence and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas naturally, clearly, and engagingly.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, particularly Reels, content trends, engagement strategies, and organic audience growth.
- Proven ability to create visually appealing, high-quality, and engaging short-form video content.
- Good understanding of storytelling, video hooks, pacing, audience retention, and content structure.
- Experience using video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro,



DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong creativity and the ability to consistently come up with original content ideas.
- Good written communication skills for captions, scripts, social media posts, and community interactions.
- Understanding of social media growth strategies, audience engagement, and content performance analytics.
- Comfortable reaching out to businesses, creators, and potential collaborators to explore partnerships.
- Ability to independently manage content creation from ideation to final publishing.
- Interest in marketing, entrepreneurship, small businesses, AI, and startup growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively with visual designers, motion designers, and the founding team.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to experiment, learn, and improve.

Preferred Skills
- Graphic Design: Experience with Figma, Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
- Motion Design: Ability to create animated graphics, transitions, and polished video effects.
- AI Content Creation: Experience using AI tools for scripts, creative ideation, image generation, video editing, or production.
- Social Media Growth: Previous experience growing an Instagram page, YouTube channel, or creator account.
- Content Marketing: Understanding of inbound marketing, brand positioning, and converting content engagement into business opportunities.
- Business Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing, small business challenges, entrepreneurship, or business strategy.
