EGrowth Partners is the back office and growth team for print businesses in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe and Australia. We run order entry, pre-press, customer service and bookkeeping for printers, and build the websites and marketing that bring in their next job. Everyone on the team is trained in print before working on client accounts, so the role builds real industry expertise.

About the role

EGrowth Partners is hiring an SEO Outreach & Digital PR Specialist to earn links and brand mentions from real, relevant websites, publications, and communities. The mentions shape what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews say when people ask about our space.

You'll find the right sites and people, write pitches that editors and journalists actually answer, and build relationships that keep paying off for months. Five links from the right sites count for more here than fifty from weak ones.

What you'll do

Prospecting and research

- Find link opportunities through guest posts, resource pages, broken links, unlinked brand mentions, and competitor backlink gaps
- Study competitor backlink profiles in Ahrefs or Semrush, and track which sources earn them citations in AI answers
- Check every prospect for relevance, real organic traffic, and editorial quality before you pitch it
- Find the right contact for each site using Hunter, Apollo, or Snov.io
- Agree on target pages and anchor text with the SEO team before outreach starts

Outreach and relationships

- Write personal pitches with subject lines that get opened and a clear reason for the editor to say yes
- Run and track campaigns in Pitchbox, BuzzStream, or Respona
- Follow up without spamming, and keep a record of every conversation
- Keep a live pipeline of upcoming opportunities and an up-to-date publisher database
- Build lasting relationships with editors, journalists, bloggers, podcast hosts, and newsletter writers

Digital PR and brand mentions

- Pitch expert quotes, data stories,



and original research to journalists through Muck Rack, Qwoted, or Featured
- Work with content writers to package linkable assets like surveys, data studies, guides, and free tools
- Turn unlinked brand mentions into links
- Earn mentions on review sites, industry lists, and roundups that AI search tools often cite

Community and brand presence

- Build a genuine, disclosed presence on Reddit, Quora, and LinkedIn by following each community's rules and adding real value instead of dropping links
- Keep the brand's name, description, and key details consistent across directories, review sites, and business profiles, since AI tools check these sources to confirm a brand is real

Quality and reporting

- Spot and skip spammy, low-quality, or paid-placement-heavy sites, and keep every link within Google's spam policies
- Check each published link for the right target page, anchor text, indexing, and whether it stays live
- Send a short weekly update covering placements landed, placements in progress, new referring domains, red flags, and next week's targets

How we use AI

You'll use AI tools to research prospects, sort lists, spot patterns, and draft first versions of pitches. Every email that goes out is reviewed, personalized, and sent by you. Editors spot template pitches quick, and so do we.

How we measure success

We judge this role on results:

- 5 to 10 relevant new referring domains earned each month
- 80% or more of new links dofollow and editorially placed
- Permanent placements only, with no expiry date or removal terms agreed with the publisher, and 95% or more of links still live after 12 months
- Brand mentions in AI answers for priority searches
- Ranking movement on the pages you build links to

Emails sent, open rates,



and raw backlink counts don't count as success on their own.

What you'll bring

- 2+ years of link building, SEO outreach, or digital PR
- Links and mentions you've personally earned on real, relevant websites
- Hands-on use of Ahrefs or Semrush
- Experience running outreach in Pitchbox, BuzzStream, or Respona
- A clear sense of what makes a link good or bad, and why
- A working understanding of how AI search tools pick the sources they cite
- Strong written English (C1 or above), with pitches that sound like a person wrote them
- The persistence to follow up, comfort with rejection, and the judgment to know when to stop

Nice to have

- Coverage or links on major news or industry publications
- Reddit, Quora, or LinkedIn profiles with real credibility built through genuine participation
- Experience building simple AI workflows that speed up prospecting or reporting
- Basic HTML or WordPress skills for uploading guest posts
- Experience earning links for health, finance, or tech brands
- A degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or English (results count more)
