EGrowth Partners is the back office and growth team for print businesses in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe and Australia. We run order entry, pre-press, customer service and bookkeeping for printers, and build the websites and marketing that bring in their next job. Everyone on the team is trained in print before working on client accounts, so the role builds real industry expertise.

About the role

EGrowth Partners is hiring an SEO Content Writer to create content that ranks on Google, gets cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and brings in leads. You'll work from SEO briefs, research each topic properly, and talk to subject experts when a piece needs real expertise.

Your readers will range from first-time searchers to people who know the subject well, so clear, plain writing matters more here than clever writing.

What you'll do

Writing and publishing

- Write blogs, long-form guides, how-tos, comparison posts, service and landing pages, and FAQs from SEO briefs
- Adjust tone and depth for each audience, and follow the style guide you're given
- Write titles and meta descriptions that earn the click
- Format and publish each piece yourself, with clean headings, internal links, images, and alt text

Content Optimization

- Check search intent before you start writing, and shape the piece around what the searcher actually wants
- Plan and optimize content in Frase, Surfer SEO, or Clearscope
- Structure content so AI search tools can pull and cite it: direct answers near the top, question-based headings, short definitions,



comparison tables, and FAQ sections
- Build E-E-A-T into each piece with first-hand insight, expert quotes, credible sources, clear author details, and current facts
- Work with the SEO team on internal linking, schema, and topic clusters

Quality and expertise

- Interview subject matter experts and turn what they know into content a beginner can follow
- Fact-check every claim and cite your sources
- Turn technical topics into plain language most readers can follow on the first read, usually around a 6th to 8th grade reading level
- Proofread and self-edit before anything goes to review

Performance and updates

- Refresh older content that's losing rankings or has gone out of date
- Check performance in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and use it to decide what to fix next
- Track where your content shows up in AI answers and rework what isn't getting picked up

How we use AI

You'll use AI tools for research, outlines, and first-pass ideas. The writing, judgment, fact-checking, and final quality are yours. Anything we publish has been written and checked by a person.

How we measure success

We look at rankings, organic traffic, AI search visibility, leads from your content, and how few edit rounds a piece needs before it goes live.

What you'll bring

- 2 to 4 years of SEO content writing for websites
- A portfolio of published work,



ideally with pieces that rank or have been cited in AI answers
- Hands-on use of at least one content optimization tool (Frase, Surfer SEO, or Clearscope)
- A solid grasp of search intent, on-page SEO, and E-E-A-T
- Working knowledge of how AI search tools choose which sources to cite
- Experience publishing in WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify
- Robust written English (C1 or above) and sharp editing skills
- Comfort working on your own and managing deadlines in a remote or hybrid team

Nice to have

- Experience with other content optimization tools like MarketMuse, NeuronWriter, or Semrush SEO Writing Assistant
- Experience writing for health, finance, or tech brands
- Content that's earned backlinks or press mentions
- Some sense of page layout and UX for content-heavy pages
- A degree in English, journalism, communications, or marketing (a strong portfolio counts more)
