About Robotex IndiaRobotex India is a non-profit on a mission to put robotics, coding and AI into the hands of every child in India, especially those in government, rural and tribal schools.
Founded in 2018, Robotex India brought Robotex International, the world’s largest robotics festival, to Indian classrooms. Since then, our programmes have reached 1.5 million+ students across 15 states and 500+ schools, trained 300,000 teachers with Microsoft, and brought 52,000+ girls into STEM.
Every year, the Robotex India National Championship gives school students a national stage. In 2025, 50+ government school students won podium places and represented India at Robotex International in Estonia. This year’s winners go to Seoul, South Korea.
Our work in Delhi is growing. We’re looking for a Senior Trainer in Mehrauli who can take children from their first robot to the championship podium.
The RoleYou’ll lead robotics and AI training for government school students in and around Mehrauli. You’ll teach the basics with patience, spot the children with spark, and mentor teams through real championship projects, from the first idea to the final run on competition day.
This role is for someone who has been in the pit area at a competition, has fixed a robot ten minutes before a match, and knows how to make a 12-year-old from a government school believe they belong there.

- Teach in Hindi and English, adapting to each group’s level and pace

- Train students to present their projects and answer judges’ questions with confidence
- Bring best practices from WRO, FLL, Technoxian and similar competitions

- Create simple worksheets, build guides and project templates for students and teachers
Teachers & Team
- Train and support school teachers so learning continues between sessions
- Mentor junior trainers and volunteers
- Track student attendance, progress and project outcomes, and share monthly reports
What We’re Looking ForMust-haves

- Experience teaching government school or underserved students, or a strong commitment to it
- Fluent in Hindi and comfortable in English
- Patient,
energetic and genuinely positive with children
- Able to work on-site in Mehrauli and travel to nearby schools

- B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. / Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar

- You celebrate a child’s first working circuit as much as a trophy
- You can troubleshoot hardware and keep a classroom calm at the same time
- You believe talent is everywhere and access is not, and you want to change that
