About the job

Position: Senior Social Media Strategist

Years of Experience: 5+ years (social media strategy and agency background only)

CTC: Up to 15 LPA

CTC Breakup: ₹1,50,000 Annual Retention Bonus. This is a part of the above CTC and is released on completion of one year. Subject to being on the payroll and not serving a notice period.

Key Responsibilities

New Account Onboarding

- Own the onboarding of our upcoming marquee account, translating the client's brand and business objectives into a clear social-first strategy from day one.
- Lead the platform strategy, content pillars,



and posting cadence for the account across relevant social platforms.

Managing Existing Accounts

- Take ownership of the social media strategy for our existing accounts, ensuring content is aligned with the brand's tone, compliance needs, and business goals.
- Drive the quarterly and monthly content calendars, campaign concepts, and platform-specific strategies for the account.
- Track and report on content performance, using data to sharpen strategy and improve engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and represent Scatter confidently in strategy calls and reviews.

Strategy & Team Collaboration

- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, format trends, and emerging social behaviours, and translate these into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate closely with content, design, and video teams to ensure strategy translates into high-quality creative output.
- Recruit and mentor junior social media executives on the team, reviewing their content plans and coaching them on strategic thinking.
- Contribute to new business pitches with social media strategy inputs when required.

Qualifications





- 5+ years of experience working exclusively in social media strategy and community management, or social-first content roles (agency experience preferred).
- Proven track record of growing and managing social media accounts end-to-end, from strategy to execution to reporting.
- You are structured, data-informed, and comfortable owning a strategy independently.
- You can lead by example and connect with clients across the ranks.
- You are articulate and enjoy presenting strategy and performance to clients.
- You can multitask and manage multiple accounts and deadlines at the same time.
- You are a positive person who values the different opinions, skills, and personalities that others bring to the table.
- You stay updated with the latest social media platform trends, formats, and content consumption behaviour.
- You are willing to go beyond what you are told to do and don't get overwhelmed by ambiguity.
- You don't shy away from the grunt work.
