SAP Authorizations AI Automation Specialist (S/4HANA & GRC)

Role Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC & Security Integration Specialist to join our SAP Security team. This role focuses on the integration of SAP and non-SAP cloud applications into SAP GRC Access Control, SAP BTP security concepts, SAP Fiori/UI5 security architecture, and advanced troubleshooting of security-related issues across SAP landscapes.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling secure business access management by connecting cloud-based applications, supporting up-to-date SAP technologies, developing and troubleshooting Fiori/UI5 applications, and ensuring seamless integration with SAP GRC processes including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), User Access Management (UAM), Emergency Access Management (EAM), and User Access Review (UAR).

Key Responsibilities:

SAP GRC & Cloud Application Integration:

- Design and implement integrations between SAP GRC Access Control and SAP




- Onboard cloud solutions into SAP access governance frameworks and define appropriate risk and compliance controls.
- Support integration scenarios involving SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other cloud applications.
- Define application connectors, authorization mappings, and provisioning requirements to support GRC processes.
- Collaborate with application owners to establish secure access management and segregation of duties controls.
- Support access governance initiatives for hybrid SAP environments consisting of on-premise and cloud applications.

SAP GRC Access Control:

- Configure and support SAP GRC modules including: Access Risk Analysis (ARA),User Access Management (UAM/ARM), Emergency Access Management (EAM), User Access Review (UAR)
- Maintain business roles, risk rulesets, mitigation controls, and approval workflows.
- Support internal and external audit requirements relating to access governance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning, risk analysis, and workflow issues within GRC.

SAP UI5 Development:

- Support development and enhancement of SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 solutions.
- Design and maintain security concepts for Fiori applications, OData services, catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages.
- Troubleshoot GRC / UI5 application authorization failures, navigation issues, and launchpad access problems.
- Analyse browser traces, frontend/backend logs, and OData service errors.
- Collaborate with developers to implement secure and scalable UI5 application designs.




- Support custom Fiori developments and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Security Troubleshooting & Debugging
- Perform end-to-end analysis of complex security incidents across SAP systems.
- Support integration with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS and IPS).
- Work closely with functional teams, project managers, developers, and enterprise architects.
- Provide guidance on secure design principles for cloud application integrations.
- Support project delivery by defining security requirements and performing solution reviews.
- Contribute to governance standards, operating procedures, and security documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, UAM, EAM, UAR).
- Experience with AI/ML tools and platforms: LLMs (Claude, GPT), prompt engineering, Python scripting, or low-code AI automation (Power Automate, UiPath).
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns: building workflows where AI agents interact with SAP systems via APIs, RFCs, or MCP protocols.
- Experiences on SAP Debug to investigate issues
- Experience with UI5 development

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward automation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, translating AI capabilities into concrete security improvements.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of security governance and emerging technology.

Nice to Have:

- Experience building AI agents or automation pipelines for SAP operations (e.g., Claude Code, SAP Build, custom MCP servers).
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, Integration Suite, or API-based SAP integrations.
- Contributions to AI governance frameworks (responsible AI, data privacy in AI-assisted access decisions).
