Role Description The Senior HVAC Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This position is responsible for leading HVAC system design for pharmaceutical facilities, including clean rooms, production areas, and support spaces. Day-to-day tasks include performing heat load and ventilation calculations, selecting equipment, preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, and coordinating HVAC layouts with architectural, civil, electrical, and MEP teams.

The engineer will review and validate designs for compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements,



and client specifications, and provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in HVAC Design and HVAC system planning for pharmaceutical and clean room environments.
- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and related Calculations for heat load, airflow, and system sizing.
- Practical experience with Plumbing design and coordination with MEP services.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, clean room, or industrial facility projects, including GMP and regulatory compliance awareness.
- Proficiency with HVAC design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience leading engineering teams or projects and managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
