Role Description The Senior Chemist for manufacturing of dyes in Vapi is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing laboratory and plant-scale chemical processes. The position includes developing and optimizing dye formulations, monitoring production batches, and ensuring products meet established quality and performance specifications.

Chemist will conduct analytical testing, interpret data, and collaborate with production and quality teams to address process deviations and improve yields. Daily work involves supervising lab technicians, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting R&D; initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience with chemical handling, testing, and instrumentation.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including familiarity with standard QC procedures, specifications, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills for developing new dyes, improving existing formulations, and conducting trials.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in dye or specialty chemicals manufacturing, especially in a plant or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental practices in chemical manufacturing and adherence to regulatory standards.
