Accountabilities: As a Senior Backend Engineer with DevOps experience, you will take ownership of backend development while contributing to system integration, deployment automation, and the reliability of cloud-native applications.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Build, enhance, and maintain microservice-based applications using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Develop and optimize integrations with relational databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise services.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and deployment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, and architectural consistency.
- Promote software engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Apply DevOps practices to improve platform reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, infrastructure practices, and application delivery processes.

Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong Java backend engineering expertise with practical DevOps experience and a solid understanding of distributed, cloud-native applications.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and/or Quarkus.
- Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservice architectures.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational database technologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes.
- Experience troubleshooting applications across development, testing, deployment, and production environments.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms.




- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with GitLab CI, Argo CD, and Helm.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
- Experience working in cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and deployment automation practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
