Job Title – Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead (Solution Pods)

Job Nature – Permanent

Work Location – Hyderabad

Experience – 6+ years as Scrum Master / agile delivery lead in software or data delivery teams, ideally in a multi-vendor, distributed set-up

Purpose of the role

Enable predictable delivery of an ArcelorMittal-led Solution Pod through disciplined sprint flow, transparent evidence and rapid impediment and dependency resolution – coordinating with the AI Platform team, CoE specialists, partner coaches and the Control Tower.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives and release coordination for the pod.




- Maintain sprint goal, capacity, flow, acceptance, evidence and Definition of Done transparency in Azure DevOps.
- Remove or escalate impediments; coordinate dependencies with the AI Platform team, CoE specialists (security, Responsible AI, data) and source-system owners.
- Protect the team from uncontrolled scope injection while keeping Product Owner decisions visible; ensure Definition of Ready before work enters a sprint.
- Track burn-up, throughput, predictability, blocked time, defects and improvement actions; report to the Control Tower.
- Coordinate sprint evidence, stage-gate inputs, release readiness and transition activities with operations owners.
- Participate in the Scrum of Scrums and contribute to the ArcelorMittal agile way of working after handover.

Good to have skills

- Scrum / agile facilitation in software, data or AI delivery teams; flow metrics and coaching
- Azure DevOps (boards, dashboards, queries) or comparable tooling
- Dependency and impediment management across platform, specialist and business teams
- Facilitation and conflict resolution in distributed (Europe / India) teams
- Understanding of Definition of Ready / Done, release management and stage-gate evidence
- Experience with AI / data product delivery and Responsible AI or security gate evidence
- Scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus) and Scrum of Scrums




- Basic understanding of Azure and the Microsoft AI stack to follow technical discussions
- Certifications: PSM II / CSM, SAFe SM, PMI-ACP

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data, Business or a relevant discipline. Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.

Deliverables The successful Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead (Solution Pods) combines strong professional depth with a practical delivery mindset. The individual must be able to establish clear methods, make sound decisions, develop colleagues and progressively assume ownership from the implementation partner. Success requires confidence working across India and Europe and balanced judgement across delivery speed, reuse, security and Responsible AI.

This role helps establish a permanent ArcelorMittal AI capability, embeds repeatable engineering and control practices, and reduces dependency on the implementation partner through structured ownership transfer. Success is demonstrated when:

- Sprint goals are met predictably; blocked time and carry-over decrease; sprint evidence (Definition of Done, acceptance, gate evidence) is complete; retrospectives produce closed improvements; dependencies with the AI Platform team are ready when needed.
- Sprint plans and goals; refined backlog and readiness view; burn-up / capacity dashboard; impediment and dependency log; sprint review evidence; retrospective actions; release / transition coordination record.
