Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer with specialised expertise in GNSS spoofing, signal analysis and positioning-system resilience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical depth, independent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to take ownership of engineering activities from concept and development through testing, validation and implementation.

This role requires a hands-on professional capable of independently driving technical assignments, resolving complex engineering challenges and delivering measurable outcomes with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

· Independently analyse RF and GNSS signals to assess system behaviour, performance and vulnerabilities.

· Drive the development, testing and validation of GNSS spoofing detection and mitigation capabilities.

· Plan and execute RF/GNSS experiments using SDR platforms and relevant signal-processing tools.

· Independently troubleshoot system-level issues, identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.

· Lead assigned engineering activities across prototyping, integration, testing and performance validation.

· Collaborate with embedded systems,



FPGA and signal-processing teams to achieve system integration objectives.

· Maintain technical documentation, test reports and validation records while taking accountability for assigned deliverables.

Required Technical Expertise

· Strong practical foundation in RF systems, GNSS engineering, wireless communications or related disciplines.

· Hands-on understanding of GNSS/GPS signals, receiver architectures and positioning systems.

· Demonstrable expertise or project experience in GNSS spoofing, detection, mitigation or related navigation-security techniques.

· Working knowledge of SDR platforms, digital signal processing and RF testing methodologies.

· Proven ability to independently troubleshoot technical challenges and translate engineering requirements into validated solutions.

· Capability to plan experiments, evaluate results and make technically sound decisions without continuous supervision.

Experience & Candidate Profile

· Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional engineering experience, with a strong preference for candidates possessing substantial hands-on expertise in RF systems and GNSS technologies.

· Demonstrated ownership of technical projects, prototypes, system development or experimental validation.

· Ability to independently manage assigned engineering responsibilities,



prioritise tasks and deliver against technical objectives.

· Strong analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving and technical decision-making capabilities.

· Candidates with direct GNSS spoofing, anti-spoofing or navigation-resilience experience will receive priority.

This position is intended for experienced professionals who can independently handle complex technical assignments and take ownership of deliverables. General RF experience without relevant GNSS knowledge or closely related project exposure may not be sufficient.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with GNSS signal-processing environments, SDR hardware or RF test equipment.

· Exposure to GNSS resilience, interference analysis, navigation security or anti-spoofing research.

· Experience integrating RF subsystems with embedded or FPGA-based platforms.

· Relevant technical publications, patents, research or demonstrable engineering achievements.
