About UsEast Coast Lubricant Limited is a growing B2B wholesale distributor of premium fully synthetic engine oils based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We supply automotive garages, repair shops, dealerships, and fleet operators across Atlantic Canada.

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Business Operations Manager who can take ownership of daily operations, manage sales activities, research market opportunities, and help build efficient systems to support our growth.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily business operations, tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Monitor salespeople, leads, customer follow-ups, quotations, and sales targets.
- Maintain and organize Zoho CRM, sales records, and customer databases.
- Research potential wholesale customers, including garages, dealerships, and fleet operators across Atlantic Canada.
- Research competitors, wholesale pricing, lubricant brands, product specifications, and market opportunities.
- Track customer orders, inventory, invoices, payments, collections, and deliveries.
- Monitor sales performance, revenue, litres sold, customer acquisition, and repeat orders.
- Research potential product expansion opportunities, including diesel oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, coolant, and other automotive lubricants.
- Prepare daily updates and weekly operational reports.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and improve existing business processes.
- Identify problems, recommend solutions, and help reduce the owner's day-to-day workload.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, warehouse,



and delivery personnel.

Requirements
- Experience in business operations, sales operations, or wholesale distribution.
- Experience in B2B sales management, inventory control, or customer account management.
- Experience in automotive lubricants, automotive parts, or industrial distribution is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and CRM systems; Zoho CRM experience is preferred.
- Strong market research, analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Excellent English communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection and availability during the required working hours.

First 30-Day ObjectivesThe successful candidate will organize our existing operations, establish reliable sales and inventory tracking systems, improve customer follow-ups, research qualified wholesale prospects, analyze competitors, and present a practical plan for business growth. Working ScheduleMonday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada time, with 35 working hours per week and weekends off.
