Company Description GHC Hospitals is a 140-bed super specialty tertiary health-care center located along Thane–Shil Road, Kausa, near Mumbai, set amid lush green surroundings at the foothills of a mountain range. Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for medical supplies, equipment, and services. The role involves assessing inventory needs, sourcing and evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products in line with hospital standards and budget.

The Purchasing

Manager will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with patient care requirements and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring stock levels, preparing purchase orders,



maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing cost-saving opportunities, and resolving supplier issues to support smooth hospital operations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in procurement planning, vendor sourcing, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with inventory management, stock control, and materials management in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Ability to analyze costs, prepare budgets, and support financial decision-making related to purchasing.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements for medical supplies and equipment.
- Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems, and basic office productivity tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work with clinical and administrative teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; relevant certification in purchasing or supply chain is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospital or healthcare purchasing management is highly desirable.
