ImmunoACT is am IIT Bombay incubated company, which is a pioneer in the field of cell & gene therapy. It has developed India’s first and fully indigenously developed CAR-T therapy for the treatment of refractory/relapsing B-cell malignancies (NexCAR19) and has an an aggressive pipeline to treat liquid and solid tumors. With a strong R&D; and strategic collaborations ImmunoACT is paving the way towards affordable and accessible gene-modified cell therapies specially with an emphasis on resource-constrained economies.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Lifecycle Management

- Lead end-to-end management of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
- Manage diverse project types including:
- Recent application/software development
- Process improvement initiatives
- Automation and digital transformation projects
- Operational enhancement projects
- Compliance and system implementation projects
- Cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, milestones, trackers, and execution roadmaps.
- Drive task delegation, execution monitoring, issue resolution, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, workflows, and operational controls based on project requirements.

2. Business & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with business teams, department heads, vendors, technology partners, consultants, and external stakeholders as required.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings, requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder discussions, and periodic review meetings.
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and execution teams.
- Support leadership in project prioritization, feasibility analysis, and execution planning.
- Assist in preparing business cases, project proposals, requirement documents, and implementation strategies.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, IT, Product, Engineering, QA, Finance, HR, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, and other business units to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, implementation partners, consultants, and third-party stakeholders when applicable.
- Track dependencies, deliverables, approvals, and inter-departmental activities to avoid execution bottlenecks.
- Ensure accountability and timely completion of assigned tasks across teams.

4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

- Identify operational inefficiencies, workflow gaps, and improvement opportunities across business functions.
- Lead process optimization and automation initiatives to improve productivity, accuracy, compliance, and turnaround time.
- Design and implement standardized workflows, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), trackers, and governance mechanisms.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving and process management methodologies.

5. Project Monitoring, Reporting & Governance

- Track project progress through interactive dashboards, status reports, action trackers, and milestone reviews.
- Maintain risk registers, escalation matrices, issue logs, and dependency trackers.
- Generate periodic MIS (Management Information System) reports and executive summaries for leadership review.
- Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, timelines, and delivery performance.
- Ensure proper project documentation, version control, change management, and audit readiness.

6. Technology & System Implementation

- Coordinate implementation of new applications, platforms, workflow systems, dashboards, and process digitization initiatives.
- Work closely with development teams, business users, and vendors during requirement gathering, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), deployment, and go-live phases.
- Ensure successful user adoption, training coordination, and post-implementation support.
- Support integration and optimization of enterprise systems, automation tools, and reporting solutions.

7. Compliance & Quality Alignment

- Ensure projects comply with organizational policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Maintain project documentation and records required for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory teams wherever applicable.

Leadership & Communication

- Drive effective communication across stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitate decision-making by escalating critical issues with appropriate recommendations.
- Promote structured project management practices, accountability, and execution discipline across teams.
- Mentor and guide team members on project coordination, planning, and reporting practices.

Qualifications and Educational Requirement

· 3+ years of relevant experience in project management, program coordination, business operations, process improvement, application implementation, or cross-functional project execution. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience from top-tier engineering institutes may also be considered.

· Experience managing software/application development projects, digital transformation programs, enterprise application implementations, process optimization initiatives, or operational excellence projects is preferred.

· Strong understanding of project planning, stakeholder management, task tracking, risk management, execution governance, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

· Exposure to workflow automation, ERP/CRM systems, business applications, dashboard development, or process digitization initiatives will be an added advantage.

· Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments, vendors, and business stakeholders.

· Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with compliance-driven environments, quality systems, audit processes, or regulated industries is preferred.

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines), Computer Applications, Business Management, or Operations.

· PMP (Project Management Professional), Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project/process management
