Role Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial procurement professional with strong market connect in stainless steel scrap to lead supplier development, sourcing strategy, and procurement expansion initiatives.

This role goes beyond transactional buying — it focuses on building new sourcing channels, identifying untapped supply clusters, and creating long-term supplier partnerships.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Specialist for Stainless steel raw material in various grades based in New Delhi. The Procurement Specialist will oversee key aspects of purchasing operations including preparing and managing purchase orders, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts,



and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and expand stainless steel scrap sourcing across India
- Identify and onboard new suppliers, processors, and aggregators
- Build regional procurement funnels and recent supply clusters
- Negotiate commercial terms and long-term supply arrangements
- Track market trends, pricing benchmarks, and availability cycles
- Strengthen supplier relationships and payment credibility

Qualifications

- Experience and proficiency with Procurement and Purchase Orders
- Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and ERP systems is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in the mining and metals industry will be an added advantage

Location: New Delhi (with Pan-India travel across sourcing regions)
