Role Description The Plumbing Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai.

The Plumbing

Engineer will design, review, and optimize plumbing systems for water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations in building projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and interpreting plumbing design drawings, coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. The role involves inspecting installations, troubleshooting system issues, supporting project planning, and advising on suitable industrial sanitary and copper plumbing materials.

Engineer will also collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing and Water Supply system design and implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing Design and Building Services for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and integration with other building systems.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations related to plumbing and water supply.
- Experience with technical drawings, CAD software, and interpreting engineering plans is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in plumbing engineering or building services in the Mumbai region or similar urban environment is an advantage.
