Position: Placement Manager

Location: Calicut, Kerala

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective placement strategies to achieve student placement targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, corporate organizations, recruitment agencies, and industry partners.
- Identify potential employers and understand their hiring requirements to generate relevant job opportunities.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, interviews, job fairs, and other placement activities.
- Maintain an updated database of employers, job openings, placement partners, and student profiles.
- Coordinate with students, trainers, and academic teams to match candidates with suitable employment opportunities.
- Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, communication skills, and overall employability.
- Collaborate with the training team to conduct aptitude sessions, soft skills training, mock interviews, and career development programmes.
- Track student placement progress, interview attendance, selection status, offer letters, and joining confirmations.
- Engage with HR managers, Talent Acquisition teams, and corporate decision-makers to establish long-term placement partnerships.




- Conduct regular follow-ups with employers regarding interview schedules, recruitment outcomes, and joining status.
- Monitor placement KPIs, including employer engagement, job opportunities generated, interviews arranged, and students placed.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly placement performance reports.
- Coordinate placement activities across branches and academic programmes.
- Collect employer feedback and placement data to improve student employability and placement outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of placement records and recruitment databases.

- Experience in placements, corporate relations, recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or career services.
- Robust communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to connect with corporate employers and generate meaningful employment opportunities.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, reporting, and organizational skills.
- A target-oriented mindset with a passion for student career development.
- Ability to manage multiple placement activities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
