Company Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a high-impact Partner Development Executive to drive the recruitment and rapid onboarding of new strategic partners focused on expanding the footprint of Siemens Intelligence Center X and the broader Siemens Xcelerator portfolio across Asia Pacific.
Role Summary
Intelligence Center X is Siemens’ production-ready industrial AI orchestration platform that combines the Mendix low-code platform with Graph Studio (knowledge graphs and industrial ontologies) and AI Studio (from the
RapidMiner portfolio) to enable hybrid human–AI workforces and deliver measurable outcomes in PLM, MES, and industrial digital transformation.
The role focuses on identifying, attracting, qualifying, and onboarding partners with strong capabilities in AI/ML, Low-Code application development, Knowledge Graphs, and industrial software solutions (PLM/MES) to accelerate market penetration of Intelligence Center X in key Asian markets.
This is a high-impact individual-contributor role with significant autonomy, focused on net-new partner acquisition and successful activation rather than ongoing account management of existing partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partner Recruitment
- Develop and execute a targeted recruitment plan for new partners (System Integrators, ISVs, specialist AI/ML solution providers, low-code specialists, knowledge-graph/semantic technology firms, Value-Added Resellers, and selected technology alliances) aligned to Intelligence Center X and priority Xcelerator use cases.
- Conduct white-space analysis across APAC countries and priority verticals (automotive, electronics/semiconductor, discrete manufacturing, process industries, aerospace & defence, etc.) to identify coverage and capability gaps.
- Proactively source and engage high-potential partners with proven strength in AI/ML platforms, low-code application development (especially Mendix or comparable platforms), knowledge graphs/ontologies/data fabrics, and industrial digital twin or PLM/MES solutions.
- Apply rigorous qualification frameworks (capability, market reach/customer base, technical depth, commitment, and cultural fit) before progressing candidates.
- Negotiate and close partner agreements within the Siemens partner engagement models (Sell, Service, Build), ensuring clear commercial and technical expectations.
- Structured Partner Onboarding & Activation
- Design and lead structured onboarding programmes (typically 30/60/90-day plans) tailored to
Intelligence Center X and related Xcelerator solutions.
- Drive partners from contract signature to “activated” status — portal access, foundational and advanced training/certification completion, ability to deliver credible demonstrations, and logging of first qualified joint opportunities.
- Coordinate tightly with product, technical enablement, marketing, and country sales teams to deliver specialised enablement on Graph Studio, AI Studio, Mendix agentic capabilities, industrial ontologies, and integration with Teamcenter (PLM)
and Opcenter (MES).
- Establish early co-sell motions, joint value propositions, and reference architectures so newly onboarded partners generate pipeline quickly.
- Ecosystem Growth for Intelligence Center X
- Build and expand a partner ecosystem specifically equipped to deliver industrial AI outcomes in Asia, directly supporting the growth of Intelligence Center X adoption and related ARR/pipeline metrics.
- Collaborate with country channel sales leadership, vertical GTM teams, and product management to ensure recruited partners address real demand signals and strategic account needs.
- Create joint solution packages and APPs with go-to-market plays that combine partners’ AI/ML/low-code strengths with Siemens’ digital thread capabilities
- Cultivate the development of APPs factory approach to drive incremental revenue streams for partners and Siemens.
- Smoothly transition successfully activated partners to ongoing partner management and enablement teams while retaining visibility on early performance.
- Contribute market and partner insights to the broader APAC partner strategy, capacity planning, and ecosystem health reporting.
- Market Intelligence, Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Maintain strong awareness of the competitive and technology landscape in industrial AI, low-code platforms, knowledge graphs, PLM, and MES across Asia.
- Build effective internal networks across Siemens Digital Industries Software functions and country organisations.
- Represent Siemens at partner recruitment events, industry forums, and ecosystem development activities across the region.
- Own and report on recruitment pipeline, conversion rates, onboarding success metrics, time-to-activation, and contribution to Intelligence Center X footprint growth. Prerequisites & Required Experience
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 8–12+ years in partner development, channel/alliance recruitment, ecosystem building, or strategic business development within enterprise or industrial software.
- Demonstrated success recruiting and onboarding net-new partners in complex B2B software ecosystems, ideally within Asia Pacific.
- Strong practical domain knowledge and commercial experience in at least three of the following (ideally more):
– AI / Machine Learning platforms and industrial AI applications
– Low-code / no-code / agentic application development platforms (Mendix experience is a significant advantage)
– Knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, ontologies, or industrial data fabrics
– Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Experience working with or competing against industrial digital platforms (Siemens Xcelerator preferred; Dassault, PTC, Autodesk, Rockwell, or comparable platforms also valuable).
- Proven ability to operate in matrix organisations, influence without direct authority,
and drive results across multiple countries and functions.
- Track record of structured partner lifecycle activities — from qualification and contracting through activation and early pipeline generation.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong market-mapping, qualification, and due-diligence capability.
- Ability to design and execute structured onboarding and enablement programmes.
- Cross-cultural fluency and comfort working across diverse Asian business environments.
- Results orientation with clear ownership of recruitment pipeline and activation metrics.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to engage credibly on industrial AI, low-code, and knowledge-graph topics.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Asia Pacific (typically 30%).
PREFERRED / HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Prior experience with Siemens Digital Industries Software partner programmes or similar large industrial software OEM ecosystems.
- Direct exposure to SaaS/subscription models and modern partner programme design.
- Background in manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or digital twin initiatives in Asia.
- Familiarity with PRM platforms and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12–18 months, the role is expected to deliver a measurable pipeline of high-quality new partners that are activated and contributing to Intelligence Center X opportunities, improved coverage in priority APAC markets and verticals, and a clear acceleration of the industrial AI partner ecosystem aligned with Siemens’ Xcelerator strategy.
This position is ideal for a commercially driven, technically curious partner qualified who thrives on building new ecosystem capacity rather than managing existing relationships, and who wants to play a direct role in scaling one of Siemens’ most strategic industrial AI platforms across Asia.
