Role DescriptionWe're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Outreach Lead to help expand UXFoundery's community, establish partnerships, and build relationships across the design ecosystem.

This is a volunteer leadership opportunity for someone passionate about community building, networking, and creating meaningful professional connections.

As Outreach Lead, you'll take ownership of outreach initiatives, identify collaboration opportunities, connect with potential partners, and help UXFoundery grow its presence across colleges, companies, and design communities.

You'll work closely with our core team to plan outreach strategies, coordinate community initiatives, and turn conversations into meaningful collaborations.

Candidates based in Kolkata will be preferred, as the role may involve in-person meetings, local community initiatives, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Community Outreach: Connect with designers, design leaders, speakers, creators, and potential community members.
- Partnerships: Build relationships with colleges, companies, organisations,



and other communities.
- Community Growth: Identify opportunities to expand UXFoundery's reach across cities and international design communities.
- Event Collaborations: Support outreach for meetups, workshops, talks, and community events.
- Relationship Management: Maintain communication with partners, follow up on conversations, and nurture long-term relationships.
- Research: Identify relevant communities, organisations, potential collaborators, and growth opportunities.
- Communication: Help create outreach messages, partnership proposals, event announcements, and follow-up communications.
- Ownership: Take initiatives from ideation to execution while collaborating with the core team.

Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and confidently initiate conversations.
- Interest in community building, networking, partnerships, or outreach.
- Strong organisational skills and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to research opportunities and identify potential collaborators.
- Experience in event coordination, student communities, design communities, or partnerships is a plus.
- A background in design, marketing, communications, or business is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Self-motivated, proactive,



and comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage community.
