Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India.

The Operations

Manager oversees day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling and dispatch of vehicles, route planning, and coordination with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers. This role monitors fleet utilization, delivery timelines, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, while resolving operational issues and ensuring service quality.

Manager prepares and reviews operational reports, manages cost efficiencies, and supports process improvements to optimize logistics performance.



The position also involves collaborating with senior management on planning, resource allocation, and implementation of operational policies and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong operations and logistics management skills, including route planning, fleet coordination, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in using transport management or ERP systems, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools.
- Solid people management abilities, with experience supervising teams, managing schedules, and resolving conflicts.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in India.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Proven experience in transport, logistics, or related operations roles, preferably within trucking or freight services.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, make timely decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing operational demands.
