Role Description The Memory Design Engineer will work on the design, development, and optimization of memory circuits and subsystems for semiconductor products in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing design specifications, performing circuit design and simulation, conducting timing, power, and reliability analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on integration and verification. The role involves using CAD tools for schematic entry, layout review, and design validation, as well as supporting design reviews, documentation, and sign-off processes.

The engineer will also assist in debugging design issues, improving design methodologies, and contributing to design automation and best practices within the team.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust Design Engineering skills, including circuit design, memory architecture understanding, and design validation.
- Candidates should possess relevant Electrical Engineering knowledge, including digital and analog electronics, semiconductor device fundamentals, and signal integrity concepts.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools commonly used in VLSI design, such as schematic capture, simulation, and layout analysis.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Product Design, including translating requirements into robust memory solutions and supporting design-for-test and design-for-manufacturability.
- Candidates should possess foundational Mechanical Engineering awareness where applicable to packaging and thermal considerations, though primary focus is on electrical and circuit design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a closely related field.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools and scripting (e.g., Python, TCL) for automation is beneficial.
- Prior experience in memory design, semiconductor design services, or VLSI projects is an advantage.
