About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Backend Developer to architect, build, and scale highly performant backend systems. In this role, you will be a key driver of technical decisions, focusing heavily on robust system design and solving complex architectural challenges. You will manage data integrations and ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and system design of robust backend solutions, demonstrating excellence in addressing complex distributed system challenges, scalability, and high availability.

Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Architect and develop scalable microservices, ensuring seamless integration across various systems and data sources.

Design optimized database schemas and performant queries across both SQL and NoSQL environments (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).

Implement strict security measures, including data validation, robust authentication/authorization, and error handling.





Drive a high-quality development process by writing testable code, conducting rigorous unit testing, and participating actively in code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Deploy, automate, and manage services utilizing cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

Act as a proactive problem-solver, providing production support, debugging complex system-level issues, and taking ownership of backend deliverables.

7+ years of qualified backend development experience, with a strong focus on building scalable applications using Node.js.

Demonstrated excellence in system design and backend architecture, with a proven ability to solve complex scaling, performance, and data management problems.

Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, and advanced RESTful API development.

Extensive hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Strong knowledge of secure API integration, data validation, and modern authentication/authorization protocols.

Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), deployment automation, and containerization (Docker).
