Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive L1 Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, system monitoring, and level-1 troubleshooting. The candidate will ensure high availability and stability across Windows/Linux OS, hypervisors, networks, backups, and storage, while managing OEM vendor coordination and SLA-based service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- OS Administration &
- Health Checks: Perform daily administration, monitoring, and health checks for Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Patching &
- Security: Support scheduled OS patching, security updates, and assist in vulnerability remediation.
- Hyper-V &
- Virtualization: Conduct basic Hyper-V health checks, host/VM monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
- Incident Management &
- Resolution: Provide L1 troubleshooting for infrastructure incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- OEM / Vendor Coordination &
- Technical Escalation: Coordinate directly with OEM/vendors, application support teams, and senior L2 engineers to escalate unresolved technical issues, log support tickets with vendors, and track them through to resolution.
- Infrastructure &
- Backup Monitoring: Monitor servers, storage, network devices, and virtualization platforms.



Oversee backup schedules, verify logs, and report failed jobs.
- Documentation &
- SLA Compliance: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational documentation, asset inventories, and ticket logs following ITIL practices.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Experience: 2–3 years in IT infrastructure support or enterprise helpdesk roles.
- OS Knowledge: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS).
- Virtualization &
- Backup: Basic Hyper-V, enterprise backup solutions, and SAN/NAS storage concepts.
- Networking &
- Tools: Basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).

- Virtualization Engineer to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure environment.



The candidate will manage Windows Server administration, Hyper-V clusters, system performance tuning, patch management, and act as the primary technical liaison for OEM vendor support and complex escalations.

Key Responsibilities

- Windows Server Administration: Provide L2 troubleshooting and administration for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP.
- Hyper-V Virtualization: Manage Hyper-V clusters, VM provisioning, resource allocation, host health, and performance tuning.
- OEM &
- Vendor Technical Escalation: Lead technical escalations and manage end-to-end coordination with OEM vendors (e.g., Microsoft, hardware OEMs, backup vendors) to troubleshoot complex system bugs, hardware failures, and high-severity outages.
- Patching &
- Vulnerability Remediation: Execute OS patch cycles using enterprise tools (WSUS/SCCM/MECM), drive vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance.
- Backup, Storage &
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot backup/storage failures, execute disaster recovery (DR) steps, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage Incident, Problem, and Change tickets.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Experience: 5–8 years in Windows Server, Hyper-V virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure management.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, MCSA/MCSE, or ITIL Foundation.
