Role Description

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Interior Tender Engineer with a robust background in tendering, BOQ preparation, Quantity Surveying (QS), and cost estimation for interior fit-out projects. The candidate should be capable of reviewing tender documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and competitive tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out projects.
- Handle end-to-end tendering activities, including tender document preparation,



submission, and follow-up.
- Study architectural drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contract conditions.
- Conduct quantity surveying, rate analysis, and cost estimation for materials, labour, and subcontract works.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare comparative statements and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and execution teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
- Review tender requirements, identify scope gaps, and highlight deviations or discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals within stipulated deadlines.
- Maintain tender records, BOQ databases, rate libraries, and cost documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in interior tendering, BOQ preparation, QS, and cost estimation.
- Experience in interior fit-out projects, commercial interiors, or turnkey interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and material specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of relevant estimation tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.
