The role
First dedicated HR hire. You build the people function for a company growing faster than its org chart. Report to the founders.
Your goals, first 6 months
- Hiring — close open roles with high quality talent across growth, ops, warehouse and sales
- Performance — KRAs for every role, quarterly reviews, incentives tied to channel targets.
- Compliance & payroll — PF/ESI, contracts, attendance; payroll on time, zero gaps.
- Retention — structured onboarding, 1:1 cadence, townhalls; attrition under [X]%.
- HR ops — HRMS, policies and handbook live by Q1.
Qualifications :
- Min 3–5 yrs experience in HR generalist and recruiting
- One stint in a startup or D2C/retail with blue- and white-collar teams
- Have hired quick: 10+ hires in a quarter
- Hands-on with Indian labour compliance
- Want to build, not inherit
