Established in 1990, it is now one of the largest private engineering companies in India. Our projects can be seen across the world, from Brazil to the Middle East to Korea.

The founder of the company continues at the helm of the company as Chairman. They are supported by the COO and various functional experts who head their respective departments. We are currently 200 people robust and our ambition is to scale up to 500 in the next few years.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Shall be responsible for leadership, guidance, development, control & administration of the Process & Safety department, the department activities, responsibilities & deliverables.

Ensure quality of documents through control & monitoring of departmental deliverables & adherence to schedule.

Develop department guidelines, standard specifications, procedures & practices.

Manpower planning, Job allocation.

Identify training needs, skill requirements.

Coordinate with client / customer,



assist & guide Business development group & other divisions & departments of company.

Decision making on technical issues & documents approval.

Have worked as HOD or Senior Group Leader supervising work of at least 15 Process Engineers.

Should be conversant with international codes & standards for carrying out process design , safety studies, approval of design basis, basic engineering documents, FEED & detailed process documents (process studies, P&IDs;, PFDs, UFDs, equipment sizing, PDS of equipment & instrument), surge analysis, hydraulic study, operation & control, pre-commissioning & commissioning and Process Safety studies.

Should have worked on Process simulation using HYSYS, HTRI, Flarenet, TG Net, PHAST.

Ensure compliance with EMS (ISO 14001) and OHSAS/ISO 45001 requirements relevant to the role.

Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures, report incidents/non-conformities, and support corrective actions.

Participate in required EHS trainings, audits, and documentation as applicable.

Experience and Qualification Required.

B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

- Should have 25+ years experience in relevant field, oil & gas / Petrochemicals / refinery projects.
