Role Overview:

We are looking for a agile, internet-savvy Group Head – Meme Marketing to lead our meme marketing vertical. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of internet culture, an instinct for virality, strong creative judgment, and the ability to translate brand objectives into culturally relevant, high-impact campaigns.

You will lead a team of strategists, content creators, and campaign managers, oversee multiple brand campaigns, and scale the meme marketing business.

This role requires someone who can think beyond individual memes and build scalable content strategies, integrated campaigns, and distribution-led solutions that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of innovative meme marketing strategies and digital campaigns for leading brands.
- Translate client briefs and marketing objectives into compelling, internet-native creative concepts.
- Stay ahead of emerging memes, trends, formats, online communities, pop culture moments, and platform-specific behaviors.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of campaign managers, creative strategists, and content professionals.
- Allocate resources, manage workloads, and ensure timely execution of multiple campaigns.
- Establish creative quality standards and effective workflows across the team.
- Build a culture of experimentation, speed, accountability,



and creative excellence.
- Review campaign outputs and provide actionable feedback to improve the team's creative capabilities.
- Own relationships with key clients and act as the primary strategic point of contact.
- Manage expectations, approvals, timelines, and deliverables across multiple campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Manage relationships with page admins and other stakeholders.
- Work with leadership to develop new offerings, scalable solutions, and innovative campaign formats.

What We Are Looking For:

- 4–5 years of relevant experience in meme marketing, social media marketing, creative strategy, or content-led advertising.
- Strong understanding of internet culture, memes, pop culture, online communities, and emerging digital trends.
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing brand campaigns on social media.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent creative thinking, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Strong client management, communication, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of social media metrics.

Bonus Points:

- Prior experience running viral campaigns or working at a meme/creative agency.
- Active presence on meme or pop culture pages.
- Ability to think creatively under pressure and move fast without losing the plot.
