About Merchantly

Merchantly is an AI-first e-commerce SaaS platform helping Indian entrepreneurs, small businesses, and D2C brands build and manage their online stores.

We're building a Shopify alternative for Indian merchants, simplifying everything from AI-powered storefront creation to payments, shipping, CRM, and business operations.

Our core product is built, and we're now preparing to onboard our first merchants and establish our go-to-market strategy.

We're a small, bootstrapped team, and I'm looking for someone who can work directly with me to take Merchantly from product development to product-market fit and revenue growth.

What You'll Own

1. Go-to-Market & Growth

- Develop and execute our GTM and customer acquisition strategy.
- Identify target merchant segments and validate acquisition channels.
- Drive partnerships, sales, merchant onboarding, and early revenue.
- Build repeatable growth processes and track acquisition metrics.

2. Product Management

- Own product roadmap, prioritization, and feature planning.
- Work closely with engineering to ship improvements.
- Gather merchant feedback and translate insights into product requirements.
- Improve onboarding, activation, retention, and overall user experience.

3. Founder's Office

- Work directly with the founder on business strategy and execution.




- Own high-impact initiatives across product and growth.
- Help establish operational processes as we scale.

Who We're Looking For

- Able to join immediately
- 3–5 years of experience in product management, growth, GTM, business operations, or a founder's office role.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, e-commerce, D2C, or an early-stage startup is preferred.
- Solid execution skills with the ability to take initiatives from idea to implementation.
- Comfortable talking to customers, analyzing data, and working closely with engineers.
- High ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to operate in an early-stage environment.

What We Offer

- Compensation: ₹50,000–₹75,000 per month + meaningful ESOPs.
- Direct collaboration with the founder, who brings engineering experience from Amazon, PhonePe, and Cohesity.

This is a hands-on execution role, not a coordination or reporting position. You'll be expected to speak with merchants, identify problems, ship solutions, and drive measurable business outcomes.
