Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Korba for a Dragline Maintenance Engineer. The role involves planning and executing maintenance activities for dragline equipment, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure high equipment reliability and availability. The engineer will prepare maintenance schedules, coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance, monitor equipment performance, and maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations teams to minimize downtime, supervising maintenance personnel and external vendors as needed,



and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. The role also requires participation in root-cause analysis of failures, implementation of improvement measures, and adherence to environmental and quality management systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for heavy earth-moving machinery, ideally with direct experience on draglines or similar mining equipment.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance Engineering skills, including the ability to plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities in an industrial or mining workplace.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills, including inspection planning, condition monitoring, and implementation of maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills related to large industrial equipment, including basic troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification) from a recognized institution.
- Experience working in mining, power, or heavy industrial sites, with familiarity in safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance, with effective communication and teamwork skills for site-based operations.
