Role Description The Draftsperson (Draftmen) will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, plans, and layouts based on design concepts and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural sketches, updating drawings as per feedback, coordinating with architects and designers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. The role involves maintaining drawing records, supporting project documentation, and collaborating with site and project teams to resolve design-related queries.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru,



requiring close coordination with the firm’s design and execution teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical drafting skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with architectural drawing standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans, preparing working drawings, and detailing for interiors and exteriors.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of building construction processes, materials, basic engineering principles, and relevant codes or regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in accuracy, attention to detail, and quality checking of drawings to minimize errors and rework.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, designers, project managers, and site teams.
- Candidates should possess good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; prior experience as a Draftsperson in an architectural or construction firm is an advantage.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling or visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) and an interest in sustainable and innovative design practices would be beneficial.
