Role Description This is a full-time, in office Coffee Roaster role based in Gurugram.

The Coffee

Roaster will be responsible for roasting specialty coffee to defined profiles, operating roasting equipment safely, and maintaining roasting schedules to meet production needs. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring roast quality, recording roast data, adjusting profiles, and collaborating with the quality team to ensure consistency across batches. The role involves cupping and evaluating coffee,



managing green coffee inventory, and supporting the development of new products and flavor profiles.

The Coffee

Roaster will also work closely with barista and training teams to share product knowledge and support coffee education across the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Coffee Roasting and Specialty Coffee, including understanding roast profiles and flavor development.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including cupping, sensory evaluation, and maintaining consistency across batches.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to collaborate with production, retail, and training teams.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, with the ability to share roasting and product knowledge with internal teams.
- Prior experience in a specialty coffee roastery or production environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in a physically active role, including lifting coffee bags and operating machinery safely.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
- Basic proficiency in data recording and use of roasting software; familiarity with safety and food-handling standards.
