Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the overall technology vision and execution for Esse India, aligning IT strategy with business goals in the immigration and visa consultancy domain. This full-time, on-site role is based in Canada and involves overseeing software and product development initiatives that support client management, case tracking, and internal operations. The CTO will manage technology architecture, select and implement platforms and tools, and ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional technology teams, prioritizing and delivering projects, collaborating with leadership on digital transformation, and optimizing technology-enabled processes. The CTO will also monitor emerging technologies, manage technology budgets,



and establish best practices for documentation, quality assurance, and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Software Development and Product Development, including experience designing, building, and iterating technology solutions for service-based businesses.
- Candidates should demonstrate expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, with the ability to define technology roadmaps, select appropriate platforms, and design scalable, secure system architectures.
- Candidates should have solid Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery of technology initiatives on time and within budget.
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as CTO, Head of Engineering, or similar, in consulting, professional services, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance considerations relevant to handling sensitive client information.
- Ability to lead and mentor diverse technology teams, foster collaboration, and build an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with clear, effective communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience integrating CRM, workflow automation, and analytics tools to enhance client experience and operational efficiency is beneficial.
